Mrs. Mop is a patience or solitaire card game which is played using two decks of playing cards. Invented by Charles Jewell, it is a relative of the solitaire game Spider in which all of the cards are dealt face up at the beginning of the game.
This game is played with 2 decks of cards. The game begins with 13 tableau piles of 8 cards each. The tableau piles can be stacked down regardless of suits.
When the top cards of a tableau pile are stacked down with cards of the same suit, then they can be moved together as a group, otherwise they can only be moved one by one.
Empty tableau piles can be filled with any card. The aim of the game is to create stacks of 13 cards from K to A of the same suit, and then they can be removed.
The rules of the game are quite simple, but it is quite tricky to play. The key is to create empty tableau piles and use the empty spaces to move other cards. That is, you need to mop the piles empty in order to win. The more cards you remove, the higher your rank.
